VIDEO: GM’s Mark Reuss Talks About the 2013 Cadillac ATS

Mark Reuss, president of General Motors’ North American operations, takes a prototype 2013 Cadillac ATS for a test-drive and talks up the brand’s new 3 Series fighter in a teaser video.

Reuss and several of the development team members talk about the car, which will be slotted below the CTS and is slated to go into production next summer in Lansing, Michigan.

The 2013 ATS will be built on the new Alpha rear-wheel-drive architecture that borrows heavily from the underpinnings of the larger CTS. Eventually, the ATS range at Cadillac is expected to include a coupe and a convertible, possibly a small wagon and at least one V-Series performance variant by 2015.

Reuss has said target competitors for the ATS include the Audi A4, BMW 3 Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class. Continue to see the video!
