2024 Cadillac XT6 vs 2024 Cadillac Escalade

Serving Mentor, OH

The Cadillac line requires a closer look in your search for an elite, three-row SUV that is remarkably well-appointed and styled. The XT6 is a midsize SUV that sits below the full-size Escalade SUV in the 2024 lineup. These spacious, well-engineered models will impress you over the miles and share numerous traits. However, their many differences require your full attention before finalizing your next SUV purchase.

Performance

The first of the XT6’s three trim levels is outfitted with a 235-horsepower, turbo 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine. The higher trim levels come with a 310-horsepower, 3.6-liter, V6 engine. These pair with an auto nine-speed transmission. The XT6’s first two trims offer front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. All-wheel drive is standard on the top trim. In comparison, the Escalade has six trim levels. Most come with a 420-horsepower, 6.2-liter turbo, V8 engine and rear-wheel drive. Options include four-wheel drive and a turbo-diesel V6 engine. The top trim has a 682-horsepower, supercharged 6.2-liter, V8 engine with all-wheel drive. All Escalade trims have a 10-speed auto transmission.

Appearance

The XT6 makes a grand impression on passersby with its distinguished front-end style. The classic Cadillac grille has a modernized look with a staggered, linear mesh and an upper accent bar. The slender headlights show off two unique LED elements. Below the headlights, the standout fog lights rise vertically and are embedded with large air inlets. The 2024 Escalade has large dimensions with a boxy profile. The tall nose has a modestly sculpted hood and a central crease rising vertically through the grille. The grille has the same pattern as you will find on the XT6, but it has a thicker chrome outline. An LED element underscores the sharp headlights.

Features

Across these models, you will find a heated steering wheel, heated rear and front seats, a hands-free liftgate, leather upholstery, a wireless charging pad, a Bose audio system, adaptive cruise control, forward collision avoidance, a digital rear mirror, a surround-view camera, automated parking, SuperCruise, a night vision camera, captain’s chairs in the second row and others. The Escalade has many of these same features, and it is also available with a cohesive glass panel for the instrument cluster and infotainment system screen, soft-close doors, a more advanced sound system, massaging front seats, a rear entertainment center, and a few other features.
